| Rebate

There
are several alternative programs in the marketplace
that allow for consumers to have additional financial
means. Some of these programs include phone card
and Internet access products that give consumers
a cash rebate. The programs offer a customer
an option to buy a product. Then the customer agrees
to purchase the product for a period of six months
to a year at a price determined by the merchant.
As a bonus for signing the contract, the customers
get offered a cash bonus or rebate based on the
quantity of products they purchase on a bi-weekly,
semi-monthly, or monthly basis. The customer can
use the immediate cash rebate for any type of financial
need.
The rebate programs are not considered loans. To
further that point, it is clear that a merchant does
not extend any form of credit so there is no “interest”
payment nor can principal be reduced because there
isn’t any. If at any time, the customer decides
to terminate their contract, they simply pay the
predetermined termination fee, and the contract is
then null and void.
TranDotCom Solutions offers a Module for processing
rebates through its transaction system. We have
also created an automated interface with PhoneCashUSA to further provide merchants
a turnkey rebate solution. |
